About Us
Glendalough Estate was derived from the Armagh valley, which forms part of the Clare Valley in South Australia.
The property Glendalough Estate, est. 1878, has been producing fruit since 1896 when John Hague, the original owner, planted orchards ofapples, plums, pears plus currant grapevines.
Some of those original trees remain today and still bear fruit.
The current owner, carries on this tradition and Glendalough Estate now produces olives, olive oil and wine using up-to-date production techniques to maintain the highest quality possible.
Aiming for consistency of quality, we apply the best viticulture techniques and employ the talent of recognised Clare Valley wine-makers. This ensures a product that is enjoyable to consume and for which is sold at an affordable price.
Glendalough Estate is an endorsed food handler/processor with the HACCP Food Handling Scheme with all food processed and packed subject to the standards as required.
